Finding the idea first
Try several stagings, camera moves, and sound ideas cheaply before committing to a Seedance 2.0 render.
Same references, editing, extension, and native sound as Seedance 2.0, at the lowest cost in the series. Try many directions at 480P or 720P, then render the one you keep.

Seedance 2 Mini is the lowest-cost model in the Seedance 2.0 series. It takes the same references and does the same jobs as Seedance 2.0 — generate, edit, extend, with native sound — at 480P or 720P, which makes it the one to explore ideas with before rendering the keeper.
How the people who built the model describe it:
“For lower cost, Seedance 2.0 Mini is recommended.”
These are the jobs people actually bring to Seedance 2 Mini, and the settings each one needs.

720P is enough for most feeds, and the cost per clip stays low when a channel needs a lot of them.
Find out which photo, clip, or voice actually steers the result before you build a bigger request around it.
Seedance 2 Mini
Seedance 2 Mini puts the handful of controls that change the result most in front of you, and keeps the rest out of the way.
01
The same 9 images, 3 clips, and 3 audio files as Seedance 2.0, the same first/last-frame mode, and the same editing and extension. What changes is the quality-to-cost trade-off and a ceiling of 720P.
02
No Seedance model here costs fewer credits per second, so trying five versions of a shot is a normal way to work rather than an expense to justify.
03
Upload a clip as video 1 and describe the change — swap a subject, remove an object, or continue the shot before or after it — while the rest of the scene stays as it was.
04
Dialogue, effects, and music come with the picture, so even a draft shows whether the timing works.

Compared with Seedance 2.0
Same features at lower cost; 480P/720P instead of up to 4K
Compared with Seedance 2.5
Up to 15 seconds and 15 references, against 30 seconds and 50

Cost and number of attempts matter more than resolution
Keep the prompt and references fixed and change one thing per run, so you can see what each change does.
Number them by upload order — image 1, video 1, audio 1 — and state the job of each. Audio needs at least one image or clip alongside it.
Move up to 720P here, or send the same prompt and references to Seedance 2.0 for 1080P or 4K.
Compare output length, resolution, references, aspect ratios, and audio support before choosing a model for your next video.
