Product and brand films
Keep the label, the material, and the proportions of a real product from its photos while a reference clip supplies the camera move.
Give it a prompt and the material it should follow — a face, a product, a camera move, a voice — and it generates, edits, or extends a 4–15 second clip with sound, from 480P drafts up to 4K delivery.

Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's multimodal video model. From text plus reference images, video, and audio it can generate a new clip, edit an existing one, or extend it, with synchronized sound. It is the highest-quality model of the 2.0 series and the only Seedance model here that renders 4K.
How the people who built the model describe it:
“The Doubao Seedance 2.0 series accepts images, video, audio, and text as input and can generate, edit, and extend video. It reproduces product detail, voice timbre, effects, style, and camera movement with high precision and keeps characters stable, giving the user the kind of control a director has.”
These are the jobs people actually bring to Seedance 2.0, and the settings each one needs.
Keep the label, the material, and the proportions of a real product from its photos while a reference clip supplies the camera move.
Edit a clip you already have — replace the perfume in the gift box with the cream from image 1, keep the camera move, change nothing else.
Extend a clip forwards or backwards, or chain up to three clips into one continuous shot with the transitions generated between them.
Seedance 2.0
Seedance 2.0 puts the handful of controls that change the result most in front of you, and keeps the rest out of the way.
01
Up to 9 images, 3 video clips, and 3 audio files go into one request. Refer to them by number in upload order — image 1, video 1, audio 1 — and say what each one supplies: the character, the camera move, the voice, the lighting. If a reference is already exact, just point to it ("follow the motion and camera of video 1 exactly") instead of describing it again.
02
Switch to first/last-frame mode and the clip starts on the image you upload, or runs from one picture to another. Describe what happens in between and the model builds the transition.
03
Put a clip in as video 1 and the prompt decides the job: replace a subject, add or remove an object, repaint part of the frame, or carry the shot on before or after it. Say exactly what changes and what must stay the same.
04
Dialogue, sound effects, and music are generated with the picture, so they land on the action. Draft at 480P or 720P, then render the keeper at 1080P or 4K.
Seedance 2.0
Where Seedance 2.0 is the right call, and where a different model does the job better.
Compared with Seedance 2 Mini
Same references, editing, and extension; higher quality and resolutions up to 4K
Compared with Seedance 2.5
Shorter clips (up to 15 seconds) and fewer references, but a 4K ceiling
Best decision signal
You need the finished shot at the highest quality or in 4K
Add the images, clips, and audio the result should follow. An audio file needs at least one image or clip with it — Seedance 2.0 does not take audio on its own.
Open with the mapping — "image 1 is the heroine, she speaks with the voice in audio 1" — then one line of subject, place, action, and style.
Seedance 2.0 follows shot numbers rather than timestamps, so break the action into "shot 1, shot 2…" and describe each. Add what you do not want, such as "no subtitles" or "no background music".
Compare output length, resolution, references, aspect ratios, and audio support before choosing a model for your next video.
